மெடிக்கல் அலவன்ஸ் வழங்குவதில், அதிகாரிகளுக்கும் - ஊழியர்களுக்கும் இடையே பாரபட்சமாக உத்தரவு வெளியாகி, அமுல் படுத்தப் பட்டது குறித்து நமது அகில இந்திய சங்கம் CMD அவர்களுக்கு கடிதம் கொடுத்துள்ளது.  கடித விபரம் கீழே:

                         Subject: - Medical reimbursement and Medical Allowance.
Sir,     


Kindly refer to BSNL Hqr letter No. BSNL / Admn I / 14-15 / 09 date 24/8/2009 on the subject.


The perks and allowances to all executives has been revised by BSNL Board 
vide letter referred above. The limit of reimbursement of expenditure on outdoor 
treatment is revised in respect of officers from  financial year 2009-2010 as under.


1) Limit of reimbursement of expenditure on outdoor treatment from one month’s basic +
DP+DA of unrevised basic pay to 25 days of revised pay + DA.


2) Medical allowance from half month’s basic + DP + DA of unrevised basic pay to 12%
days of revised basic Pay+DA.


The pay scales of non-executive employees have also been revised but surprisingly the 
reimbursement amount and allowance in respect of non-executive staff remain as before. 
We are unable to understand why the management is resorting to discrimination in 
the matter. The non executive staff are the sons/ daughters of same soil to which 
officers belong.


We, therefore, request you to please look into the matter so that the grievances is redressed
and discrimination removed.

Why no revision in Medical Allowance and Medical reimbursement amount in respect of non-executive
employees?

The pay revision of officers was done in year 2008-09. Sequel to revision of pay their perks and allowances including Medical also revised in 2009.

The Wage revision of non-executive was much
delayed and finalized on 15th  Jan, 2010 and approved
 by DOT on 6/5/2010. There is no mention of revision 
of Medical Allowance etc in the wage agreement. 
Hence non-executive staff are not getting enhanced rate.


NFTE has taken up the matter with CMD BSNL.
